Attackers get a ticket bonus when they take control of an Objective. In Breakthrough, only the attacking side has to pay attention to tickets. When the enemy kills your Specialists your side loses tickets too. When you kill enemy Specialists, their team loses tickets. TicketsĪt their simplest, tickets are the number of respawns available to each team.Īll modes in All-Out Warfare use tickets, but Hazard Zone doesn’t. Use Co-op for local play with your friends and AI Specialists. You can choose your map and the skill level of the AI you’ll be squadded up with and fighting against. If you want to increase your skills in a less stressful environment, choose the Solo option from the Warfare menu. Spend the Dark Market Currency (DMC) you earn in Hazard Zone on Tactical Items like Squad Redeploys, increased ammo capacity, or increased payouts for a successful extraction. Tactical Items are only available from the Dark Market, which you can access from the Deploy Screen.

Break the streak with a failed extraction and you’ll lose those bonus slots. We give you bonuses for successful extraction streaks-including opening up more Tactical Items slots. Apart from the storm you have other squads competing against you to collect intel, and you’re in hostile territory so you have local militias to contend with too. You have one life (there are redeploy terminals your squadmates can use to get you back in the action) and two extraction opportunities. The objective here is to stay alive, collect intel (on data disks) scattered across the map, and extract your squad before the weather turns fatal. A Breakthrough match ends when the attackers take control of the final sector to win or when they run out of tickets and lose. The attackers have to wait for the timer to finish before they can advance on the next sector. Once the attackers secure an objective, a timer starts and the defenders are forced to retreat and regroup. Defenders, with unlimited tickets, try to prevent this by holding their ground and defending their objectives. It’s a push-pull game mode where Attackers, with a limited number of tickets, push forward to gain control of objectives and claim more sectors on the map.

If Conquest is a free-for-all, Breakthrough is a tug-of-war. The game ends when one side controls the entire map or when one side runs out of tickets. When you control most of the flags in a sector, your enemies start to lose tickets faster. Securing and defending a flag helps your side gain control of a sector. The map is divided into sectors, each of which has points to secure, or flags, inside them. If you’re new to Battlefield, start here to get to grips with some essential parts of the game.Ĭonquest is a large-scale battle for control of a map.
